The personal details we collect may include your name, email address, postal address, telephone number and credit/debit card details (if you make a donation), as well as information you provide in any communications with us.  You will have given us this information whilst making a donation, registering for an event, or using any of the other ways to interact with us.

Our use of this information includes:

• To process your donations and to claim Gift Aid on your donations.
• To provide the services you have requested.
• To update you with important administrative messages about your donation.
• To comply with regulations concerning major gifts.
• To keep a record of your relationship with us.

If we do not collect this information we will not be able to process your donation or provide the services you have requested.

We may also use your personal information:

• To contact you about our work and how you can support us.
• To invite you to send contributions for our website or participate in surveys or research.

Sensitive Information

If you share your own or a friend or family member’s personal experience we may also collect information about a diagnosis of neurodiversity or other health condition that you tell us about. If you provide us with these details we will treat this information with particular care and confidentiality and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

If you share your personal details with us, or provide us with a case study or interview about your personal story, you can remain anonymous if you wish.

How we use your personal information and why

If you contact us, you may choose to provide details of a sensitive nature.

This means that the reason that we are processing information is because there is a legitimate interest for Phoenix ND Education Ltd to process your information to help us to achieve our vision of ensuring that autistic adults and those providing them with work have the knowledge to do so successfully.

Whenever we process your Personal Information under the ‘legitimate interest' lawful basis we make sure that we take into account your rights and interests and will not process your personal information if we feel that there is an imbalance.

Some examples of where we have a legitimate interest to process your Personal information are where we contact you about our work via post, use your personal information for data analytics, conducting research to better understand who our supporters are, improving our services, for our legal purposes (for example, dealing with complaints and claims), or for complying with guidance from the Charity Commission.

We will only contact you about our work and how you can support Phoenix ND Education Ltd by phone, email or text message if you have agreed that we may contact you in this manner.

The personal information we collect about you will mainly be used by our staff so that they can support you.
